My name is Jai, I am a mum of three wildings and the face behind the camera of Wild Valley Photography. I live in the valley of Sunshine Coast Hinterland with my three children, a few dogs, horses and cattle. I have always lived rural, growing up watching the sun rise over the Maleny Ranges and set over the Mary River.

I have a passion for showcasing women in rural and regional areas. My grandmother, one of my biggest inspirations, has been the sole proprietor of Beauleigh, a small cattle property in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland for the past 20 years. Now, in her 80's, she still goes about her days, checking water troughs and fixing fences like she is 20 years old. It's women like this, that I aim to create a story of beauty, strength and fierceness through my photos.

I get a thrill, chasing the light, creating the perfect setting, getting the smile from a grumpy toddler or cracking the laugh lines on a hard working dad. I want mothers and daughters to see their true beauty when they look at my photos, I want partners to see and appreciate the strength of the woman carrying their child, I want families to feel together, happy, relaxed and in the moment.
